Android TV boxes are sold on a first come, first serve basis. It is recommended to leave a deposit to ensure a box is held for you as stock is replenished. You will be contacted on the day new shipment arrives and your order will be held for two weeks before being offered to the next customer waiting. If you miss the two week window you will lose your place in queue and can use the deposit towards a device as they become available.
Are Android TV boxes legal to use?
The short answer is most definitely yes. Many people get confused between downloading and uploading copyright material, which is illegal, and streaming and watching at the same time without downloading WHICH IS LEGAL !! The Android TV Box does not download, upload, copy or store any Media and in fact has no connection or association with the sites that host and store any of the online media you are watching. The Android TV Box simply connects to sites and temporarily streams the data to your Television. It is never stored, copied or retained.
Do we guarantee the quality of the online content?
No. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the quality, longevity or integrity of the online content. The content originates from 3rd party entities and is completely out of our control or influence. However, as long as you have a good quality broadband connection you should experience more than satisfactory streams. The vast majority of streams are good to great quality, many are HD quality. If a stream is not adequate or of a poor quality, there are many many more.
What do I do if the stream is constantly buffering or freezing?
There are two main reasons for this:
1.The stream that you are trying to connect to is very busy.
2.Your Internet or Wi-Fi connection is inadequate.
The solution to reason 1 is to stop the stream and select a different stream. The solution to reason 2 is to upgrade your internet connection or use an Ethernet (wired) connection.
The video and sound seem to be out of sync sometimes?
A small number of streams may have audio and video sync issues. If you experience this issue you can select a different stream.
Should I use Wi-Fi or a cable to connect my Android TV Box?
A wired (ethernet or RJ45 cable) is always best as it does not suffer from any interference. The speed of a wired connection is normally faster than a Wi-Fi connection. If your Internet Service Provider has installed your modem in the same room as your TV then you can connect directly to your Android TV Box with a cable. If your router is located in another room or even another floor then you can use Wi-Fi.
What internet speed do I need?
We have seen decent streaming quality with as low as 5 mbps. We recommend at least a minimum speed of 10 mbps and 25 mbps for HD content. The amount of data used depends on how much is streamed as well as what quality you are streaming. We highly recommend subscribing an unlimited internet package where possible.
Can I use a wireless mouse or keyboard?
You can use a wireless mouse and/or keyboard on your Android TV Box. We carry a line of wireless remotes/keyboards that are fully compatible with our Android TV Boxes.
If I have more than 1 tv in my house do I need more than 1 Android TV Box?
You will require 1 Android TV Box per TV. So if you have 2 TV’s you would need 2 Android TV Boxes.
